The seller
Cédric.iT di Cédric Boniolo, Saonara (PD), VAT number 04322850282, certified email (PEC) cedric@pec.it, email info@cedric.it (hereinafter “the supplier”).
What is purchased
A licence to use the Platea online service for the period and number of operators of the chosen plan. Event participants (the audience) are unlimited and do not need an account.
- Day: €55 + VAT for 7 days; 2 operators.
- Event: €149 + VAT for 30 days; 5 operators, AI features included.
- Conference: €379 + VAT for 30 days; 20 operators, AI features included.
- Base: €105 + VAT per year per operator; number of operators chosen at purchase.
- Pro: €209 + VAT per year per operator; number of operators chosen at purchase, AI features included.
Prices and payment
Prices are in euros, excluding VAT; VAT at 22% is shown before payment. Payment is made by card through Stripe Payments Europe Ltd.; the supplier does not receive the card details. The supplier issues an electronic invoice using the details provided by the customer, who guarantees their accuracy.
Customers outside Italy
Outside Italy, Platea is sold only to businesses, professionals and organisations with a VAT number, purchasing for their own business activity. For customers in the European Union, the VAT number is checked on the VIES system; the invoice is issued without VAT under the reverse charge mechanism (art. 7-ter DPR 633/72 and art. 196 of Directive 2006/112/EC), and the tax is accounted for by the customer in their own country. For customers outside the European Union, the invoice is not subject to Italian VAT. The customer declares that the details provided are correct and is liable for any taxes due in their own country.
Activation and duration
The licence is activated automatically after payment: the producer user’s credentials are sent to the email address provided. The Day plan lasts 7 days and the Event and Conference plans 30 days from purchase; they do not renew. The Base and Pro plans are paid per operator (each member of staff who signs in), last 12 months and renew automatically for a further 12 months at the same price for the same number of operators, unless cancelled before the renewal date by notice sent to info@cedric.it or through the subscription management portal. The number of operators can be increased at any time, with a charge proportional to the remaining months. On expiry, users can no longer sign in; events and reports are kept for 90 days, after which they may be deleted.
Consumer right of withdrawal
Anyone purchasing in Italy as a consumer (without a VAT number) may withdraw within 14 days of purchase by writing to info@cedric.it, without giving any reason. Since the service is activated immediately at the customer’s request, the refund is reduced in proportion to the days of licence already elapsed (art. 57, paragraph 3, of the Italian Consumer Code, Legislative Decree 206/2005). The refund is made to the same card within 14 days of the notice.
Proper use
The customer is responsible for the content they publish in events and for complying with data protection law towards their own participants. Platea may not be used for unlawful activities, to collect sensitive data from participants or to send unsolicited communications.
Service availability and support
The supplier undertakes to keep the service available with the utmost diligence, except for scheduled maintenance announced in advance and causes beyond its control. Support is provided by email on working days; for the Conference plan, also on the event days, by prior arrangement.
Liability
For business customers, the supplier’s liability is limited to the amount paid for the current period, except in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence. Nothing in these terms limits the rights granted to consumers by law.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Italian law. For consumers, the competent court is that of their place of residence; in all other cases, including customers outside Italy, the court of Padua. Consumers may also use the European online dispute resolution platform. In case of differences between translations, the Italian text prevails.
